I think Boyle will be back. After years of not being able to sell free agents on Toronto, it's looking like a pretty sweet place to play right now

Not significantly, especially if Boyle re-signs. 3 game suspension for piece of poop player Dotchin a joke for putting a player out of action for 6 months. (frank) the AHL, (frank) Tampa, (frank) Dotchin, about time he gets taken out. This is the second dirty play by him injuring a Leaf this year. A sixth round piece of poop goon that has zero talent.

Not me, his salary is $7 million and he is guaranteed for 2 years only. Shattenkirk will get $7 million. Is Shattenkird as good as Doughty? no way, is Doughty as good as Shattenkirk plus Nylander - NO WAY!

Maybe Leafs can get Hanzal ánd Boyle, both on 2 or 3 year deals.
They have enough capspace, and probably better to add both of those than a sub-par d-man.

No way. How much is Doughty going to want in 2 years when his contract expires. He already makes 7 mill.

Just meant that if we trade Nylander (21) for Dman, I would want a Dman closer to Nylander's age...so we have more control of him for a cheaper rate and maybe a longer time.
Doughty is not old....but if we trade a 21 year old stud....I would want someone no older than 24/25.
